2. 教学难点:

通过不同形式的写作训练来练习写作便条,指导学生能熟练地写作便条来邀请朋友参加自己(学校)的某项活动。

三、教学过程

Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision

1. Greet the Ss as usual. Check the homework.

2. Review the months of a year one by one: from January to December.

3. Review the school activities. Let some Ss say all the school activities they know.

S1: basketball game, volleyball game, soccer game, tennis game, school trip, art festival…

S2: School Day, Sports Day, English Day, book sale, English test, party…

4. Then let some Ss report what activities they like and dislike.

(Tell Ss to use the sentence structure: I like …, but I don't like…)

S1: I like basketball game, volleyball game and soccer game, but I don't like English Day, book sale, English test or party.

S2: I like tennis game, school trip and art festival, but I don't like Sports Day, English Day or book sale.

5. Ask and answer about the activities in your school like this?

S1: Do you have a soccer game?

S2: Yes, we do.

S1: When is it?

S2: It's on October 28th.

Ss ask and answer about the activities in pairs.

Ⅱ. Reading

1. Ask students to listen to the tape of 2b and guess what the meaning of passage is.

2. Read the note carefully and complete the note with the words in the box. First let's read the words in the box and make you know the meaning of every word.

3. 阅读指导:

① 应先通读全文,明白便条的大意。

② 分析句子结构及句意来确定空格处的所缺单词的词性及词义。

③ 选择恰当的词填空,并再读全文一遍,看是否通畅。

如:分析第一句话的句子结构可知,空格处应为一动词,句意为“你……体育运动吗?”,再结合选项,可知应选like,整句话的意思为“你喜欢体育运动吗?”。其他选项与此分析相似。

4. Ss read and fill in the note. Then check the answers.

5. Let Ss try to remember the note and retell it to the class.
