学生的基础不是太好,口语课对于他们来说较为吃力,因此在教学中,我尽可能多鼓励他们,问他们问题,促进他们开口说英语,例如,在交通工具的词汇学习过程中,我会利用各种交通工具带出各种相关的问题,引导学生可以说一些相关的东西。

教学难点:认识到乘坐中国火车旅行和乘坐美国火车旅行的差异

通过视频为媒介,在看的过程中感受中美火车文化差异。用简单的问题做引子,一步步增加难度,对于陌生词汇给予适当的提示,让学生能够在文化背景下探讨文化差异。

六、教学过程教学环节教师活动预设学生活动设计意图Lead-inShow a picture of an Indian train and ask them whether they want to take a train like that.Tell their own ideas about the question. To intrigue students’ interest and lead to the topic of today’s class--train.VocabularyShow pictures of different means of transportation, meanwhile ask them questions about the relative transportation.Say the names of the transportation and answer the questions.Learn the expression of different kinds of transportation and say something about things they are familiar with.Speaking Let students tell their travel experience in groups first, then, invite some students to share their experience in the class.Talk in groups and share their experience in front of the class later.Let students get into the topic--travel by speaking their own travel experience.Video timeShow students a video and ask them questions about the differences between a Chinese train and an American train Watch the video and find the differences. Talk about things they can do on a trainEnable students feel the cultural differences between a Chinese and an American train and lead them to talk more things about trains.Speaking Ask the question -- what transportation wold you choose if you are going to travel to the central part of Australia?.

Show some pictures of Australia and give a brief introduction of Australia.Discuss the question and learn the basic knowledge of Australia.From the question, the teacher can naturally lead to the next reading class--My First Ride on a Train. The students will be fully prepared for the next class.七、教学评价设计内容:学生是否掌握了中美火车文化差异,是否在课堂中尽可能多地说英语

方法:

课后询问学生对于这堂课的总体看法,指出本堂课的优劣。

通过课后作业制作中美火车文化差异的海报来判断学生是否有效吸纳了本节课的知识

car sickness 晕车 are gong to the central part of Australian?九、课后反思这节口语课环节紧凑,给学生了很多时间和机会开口说英语,在听说的过程中感受到火车文化差异。但是,由于学生的基础水平低,他们依旧觉得开口说英语很难,尤其是完整地表达自己的意思。大多数时候,学生只能用单个单个的单词来回应我的问题,在后期的教学中,更应该在此方面多下功夫。多关注学生的口语表达能力,增强输入以期待提高输出。
