本材料在外研版必修三自然灾害的基础上进行拓展，结合实事热点选取材料，以学生为中心进行探索发现与学习，形成对于雾霾的价值观。二、学习者特征分析Ss to have the class are all excellent ones competing for the chance to be admitted into Beijing University, who are the combination of hard work and intelligence. Besides, they are interested in social problems and concerned about current events in their daily life. However, because of lack of knowledge and expressions in English, they have difficulty in understanding the material, which can challenge them to be better.

Before the class, they’d better fully prepare for the class searching for information on smog.

1.学习特征

根据皮亚杰的青少年心理发展理论，高一生相较于初中生和小学生，有了逻辑思维和抽象思维能力，有了自主思考和分析问题的能力。听课学生为优秀的高一学生。

2.学习习惯

他们富有勤奋与智慧，热心社会问题，关心社会生活, 但是因为缺乏知识和英语表达，阅读理解有难度，但这恰是提升他们能力的契机。

3.课前对学生的要求

他们需要查阅相关中英资料并进行讨论，有关雾霾的各种时事问题。二、教学目标分析（三个维度）1.知识与技能

A. Knowledge

Ss are able to generally recognize the news by listening comprehension of an audio-visual material about smog, the current event in China

（大概认知关于中国时事热点“雾霾”的视听材料）

Ss are able to recognize and exactly paraphrase important expressions and words about the smog in the passage as follows, a tale of 3 cities, be fueled/supported by, a concerned citizen, the precursor/contributor to acid rain, envelop the entire area, in the case of Beijing, the primary component/ingredient, the problem with these particulates, along with, for perspective

Ss are able to memorize and write down the grammar in the material, such as in the past several decades, attributive clauses, and V-ing used as attributes, by grammatical gap filling.

B.Abilities

Ss are able to generally express something about smog in English, mainly on what is smog, how it is formed and what is the harm of it.

Ss are able to practice reading comprehension through scanning and skimming, listening comprehension through audio-visual practice and filling in the blanks and Multiple choice for advanced sentences

3.情感态度与价值观

Ss are able to realize the importance of environmental protection and concern with the issue of smog and start to protect the environment by themselves through cycling and walking, planting more trees and using less plastic.

Ss are able to be interested in searching for information on how to treat it
