1. Leading-in and warming-up

Watch a video then answer two questions.

1. Do you like pandas?

2. What do you know about pandas? (Let the students watch a video and learn some things about pandas and other animals in danger .)

2. Review and show

1) Test the students’ memories

3. New lesson

1) Finish the task in 1a, match the pictures and the words.

2) Listening

Play the recording, get the Ss to listen, circle the adjectives in 1a they heard.

The answers are: 1.smart, 3. beautiful, 4. cute, 5. lazy, 8. shy

Play the recording again. This time, Ss need to fill in the blanks in 1c with the adjectives they heard. Teach Ss how to make notes quickly------Just write down the first letter of the words, after finishing listening, complete the words.

Check the answers, and then make dialogues with the information.

3) Play games

Show five golden eggs. Let the students choose the egg then make conversations with partner.
