Period 1 Lead-in
Present some film posters to the students to attract the students’ attention.
Let them have a discussion about the types of films. And Let them talk about their favorite types of films.
Types: biography, horror, science fiction, adventure…
Period 2 Prepare for writing
Ask the students to design a poster of their favorite films to promote this film. They should finish a form as below:

Plot:
The students should think up a film and complete the first three blanks
Write down the name, characters, and type
Share their form with the other students
Period 3 How to write a summary (plot)
Discussion: talk about the main idea of their favorite films.(work in a group of 4)
