三、学情分析（Students analysis）

本节课所讲授班级设定为五大连池市高级中学高二（3）班，该班为普通班，学生英语程度较一般，英语平均分在40分上下徘徊。学困生较多，但班内也有个别热爱学习英语的同学。在本堂课上，利用多媒体手段，使英语学习积极性高的同学带动学困生；将问题按梯度设计，给予学困生机会跟上教学思路。

四、教学重、难点（Teaching important and difficult points）

1.如何准确略读及寻读；(How to practice the skills of skimming and scanning correctly.)

2.怎样感知李宁的拼搏精神；(How to realize or notice the spirit of Li Ning.)

3.如何看待并描述当下中国的体育人精神。(How to describe and criticize the spirit of current sportsman in China.)

五、教学过程（Teaching procedures）

（一）问候，读前活动（Greeting and pre-reading）

1. 展示图片，情境导入（Show pictures to lead in the topic of this text.）

展示李宁的若干图片，导入本节课的主人公，可让同学们谈一谈他们对李宁的了解。

(Display some pictures related to the main character Li Ning in this text and let Ss talk about their ideas about Li Ning.)

（设计意图：直观的通过图片展示，快速让同学们进入本节课的主题，对要谈论的话题有初步了解与认识。）

【信息技术应用点】展示百度图片库中关于李宁的图片。

2. 重点单词复习（Review the key words）

通过英英解释之前学习过的重点单词symbol, guarantee, purchase, advantage, perform, increase, retired, chance，扫除本篇文段中的单词障碍。

(Review the important words through the English explanation, deal with the obstacles of words in the text.)

（设计意图：单词是同学们学习的基础，尤其对于本班基础较薄弱的学情，因此在文章理解之前再次强化单词含义，扫除同学们在阅读文段中的单词障碍。）

【信息技术点应用】利用PPT中飞入飞出的动画设计，使单词教学不单调乏味。

（二）读中活动（While-reading）

1. 略读（skimming）

通过选择题设问，快速找出文章主题。
