Step 1 Warm up:
1. Greetings
2. T: You all look great! Last class we have learned some animals. Do you know these animals? If you know, stand up and say it quickly. (一个一个出示动物的图片，学生抢答。)
T: Do you know some proverbs or sayings about these animals? Let’s play a game. (击鼓传花)
【设计意图】用击鼓传花的游戏在复习动物的同时，活跃课堂气氛，为下面的学习做好铺垫。
Step 2 Lead in:
1. T: You all did a good job. Today, we will continue to learn U7 Why do you like pandas? (Section B 2a-2c)
T: Today, we will learn another animal. Guess. It’s big. It’s strong. It has a long nose.
S: Elephants.(学生说的同时教师板书画一只大象。)
Step 3 Show the learning aims.
T：Excellent! How much knowledge do you know about the elephants?

(1) All the elephants have ivory. (F)
