Brief introduction:
The project in this unit is designed to help the students learn English through team work. The reading material about Shangri-la is a sample to show the students how a travel leaflet is designed. The students are encouraged to design a travel leaflet by imitating and improving the given one.
And the students of Grade One don’t have a wide vocabulary. Some of them may not adapt to class in English. Thus the teacher should take these aspects into consideration and try to use simple and clear spoken English. And the whole teaching design is student-oriented.

1. Ask students some questions: Do you like traveling? What places have you ever been to?
2. Show the beautiful pictures on the screen with music as background music. Meanwhile, phrases and sentences used to describe the beautiful scenes will appear along with the pictures.
