Step 1 :lead in

1. Are you familiar with them? What do you think of them?

Adjectives like ‘kind, smart, friendly, sad, unfriendly’ can be used to describe people’s personality.

2.Students and teacher play a guessing game: Who is he/she?

Students are asked to guess who the student is through the given description of the student.

3. Teacher introduces the topic of today’s lesson: Adjectives to describe personality by focusing Students’ attention on the words about personalities in the descriptions.

导入采用“猜猜他/她是哪位学生”的猜谜方式,旨在激发学生兴趣,使学生能迅速把注意力投入到课堂中来,因为大部分学生对同学还是挺了解的。在谜面中使用有关Personality的词汇,自然导入本课主题。
