体会学习英语的乐趣,做到“在用中学”“在学中用”。养成一个良好的饮食习惯。

二、教学重难点

1. 教学重点:

1) 学习掌握本课时的重点词组,重点句型及表达方式。

2) 引导学生们做听、说的训练。

2. 教学难点:

通过role-play的方式掌握如何订餐等用语。小组学习制作自己小组的宣传海报并进行成果展示。

三、学情分析

本单元的话题是点餐,与学生的日常生活息息相关,学生的兴趣比较高。但食物的单词比较多,而且还要区分可数和不可数,学生记忆起来有一定的难度。由于我们地处边疆地区,学生学习英语仅限于课堂的几十分钟,在后面的展示环节让学生介绍自己餐厅的特色对学生是一个很大的挑战。学生间差距很大,所以在课程的设置中我设计了可以让全班同学都能参与操作的一个练习环节和一个对能力要求较高的加强环节。

Ⅰ. Warming-up

Watch a video and ask students what food can they find in the viedo.

Ⅱ. Knowing ingredients.

Show students some pictures about food and ask them “what ’s this and what are these?”. To learn to distinguish and use countable and uncountable nouns about food .

Ⅲ. To learn to order the food.

Teach the important sentences:

waiter:What kind of noodles would you like ?

customer:I’d like beef and tomato noodles/chicken and cabbage noodles/mutton and potato noodles.

waiter :What size would you like?

customer:I’d like a small bowl/a medium bowl /a large bowl of noodles.

Students do the role practice ,then ask some students to play the conversation for the class.
