【Teaching Procedures】
Step1:Lead-in :
T: Look at these pictures on the Bb.
1.Do you know who is him ? S:
2.Do you know what's this on the screen? S:
3. Do you know something more about Zheng He? S:
T:yes,everyone knows something about Zheng He and his voyages ,today let's learn more about him.
Step2:Presentation
1.Pre-reading
T:Please look at the pictures on your book on P18,can you guess who is him?What will we learn this class?
2.Fast Reading:
Prtesent 4multi-choices on the screen and give Ss 6 mins to look through the passage quickly and get the answera of these questions.
Then I divides the class into 6 groups and heve Ss discuss in groups about their answers.
After that I will ask some representatives to expess their opinions at the same time other Ss listen carefully and express different opinions if they have.
Last I will check their answers with the PPT.
3.Careful Reading
With the help of the PPT ,present 5 questions according to each paragraph and then give Ss another 8 mins to read this passage carefully and answer these questions after looking through these questions.
