Share some pieces of news about paparazzi on the google with students and then let them find the common pionts existing in these pieces of news.
Lead in
Step 1
Stduents find the common word ‘paparazzi’, then ask them the meaning of paparazzi.
Step 2
Explain the definition of paparazzi.
Step 3
Lead students to state their opinion on paparazzi.
Before listening
Prediction
Give students 5 minutes to go through the key words in this lesson and try to predict the general meaning of the listening material. Then I will invite several students to state their prediction.
During listening
Step 1
Listen to the material for the first time to check if students’ predictions are right or not.
Step 2
Listen to the material for the second time and finish the corresponding exercises on the textbook.
Step 3
Check the anwer and I will play the listening for another time if students can’t get the right answer. What’s more, I will explain the corresoponding cultural background during the anwer checking period.
