Teaching procedures:
Step1. Lead-in
Show the students some photos of some popular comedians and discuss with them. Then have our English representative introduce her favourite comedian and his comedies.
Step2. Give the students introduction of Mr Bean. Let them read it in order to know something about Mr Bean. Pay attention to some new words.
Step3. Reading
Task1. Read the text while listening, then get the main idea of it and match the paragraphs with their headings.

Main idea: It’s about Mr Bean and one of his films/comedies.
Task2. Divide Mr Bean’s comedy into three parts and have the students fill in the blanks according to some pictures related to the film and the text.
A:Celebrate his birthday:
