该班学生英语基础较好，对英语学习很有热情，学习态度较好。班上大部分学生英语处于中等偏上水平，有8个处于中下水平，尖子生有2个。通过之前宾语从句和表语从句的学习，学生已经能简单掌握名词性从句中连接词的选择和使用，但学生的口语和写作表达能力不强。

在本课结束时，学生能够：
基于小组合作学习，通过在电影赏析的过程中掌握主语从句连接词的选择与运用。
能用已经学习的语法内容，使用主语从句表达观点。
从电影片段中，让学生产生情感上的共鸣，对墨西哥亡灵节文化、对亲情和理想矛盾有辩证思考，并懂得珍惜与家人相处的时光。
