The teaching material is from NSEFC Module 1 Unit 3 speaking and listening.

Analysis of students’ characters(学生特点分析)

The students are from senior 1, class 1601. I have been teaching them for two months. They are very enthusiastic and always ready to show themselves in class.

Analysis of learning situation(学情分析)

As senior 1 students, junior high school have learned English for three years, they have achieved certain English levels, who have mastered some words as well as sentence patterns. It is not difficult for them to make a simple dialogue and finish the task of listening . However, it will be difficult to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of each transport by themselves.

III. Teaching Aims:

Learn and master the following words: travel, transport, disadvantage, fare and so on.

Talk about means of transportation.

Do some speaking and talk about travel.

Do some listening.

IV. Teaching Important Points:

Improve the students’ speaking ability by discussion, talks and making some dialogues.

Improve the students’ listening ability.

How to finish the task of speaking and how to make dialogues correctly.
