The first & second period (Warming up and Pre-reading)

Step 1 Warming-up

T: When talking about cultural relics, what comes to your mind?

Teacher asks the Ss to look at some pictures (the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Pyramids in Egypt and so on)and discuss the following questions.
