3、Teaching procedures

Ⅰ. Review and lead in:

1. Greet the Ss and introduce myself.

2. Let Ss watch a picture about Middle School Students’ Rules and ask “Do you know it?” and “Do you like rules?”

3. List some of the rules in our school.

4. Lead into an old saying,“Nothing stands without rules.”

Ⅱ. Presentation

Show some moving pictures of activities and present sentence patterns with “Can we…?”, “Do we have to…?”, “Does he / she have to…? ” and Imperative Sentence.

① arrive late for class

② run in the hallways

③eat in the classroom

④listen to music in class

⑤fight

⑥talk in class

⑦be quiet/keep quiet

⑧wear a school uniform/ wear school uniforms

2. Let Ss practice by themselves.

3. Show their conversations.

Ⅲ. Reading

Read the conversation in 2d and answer the questions.

②Are there many rules at school?
