Warming-up mainly introduces the the health issues concerning young people and lists some healthy and unhealthy habits. By learning the topic,students can know the reason why some adolescents start smoking and its bad effects.

= 2 ﹨ ROMAN ﹨ MERGEFORMAT II .Teaching aims:

1.Knowledge aim: at the end of the class,the students can master the following key words , phrases and patterns.

Most of the students’ reading ability is poor. Because of the new words in the reading passage,they lack confidence and it is difficult for them to read for the specific and general information in limited time. So I will try to design some tasks to train their reading skills such as skimming and scanning to encourage them to take an active part in activities and develop their reading habits.
