This unit introduces many important legends of ancient Greece, which forms an important part in English literature and culture. The topic requires students to know the background information of these legends.The text in reading tells the journey of Odysseus from his son’s view. So students need to get the exact stories of Odysseus by judging from opinions and facts. Only after they dig the truth can they learn what really has happened to Odysseus and learn his spirit.
