授课内容介绍：
本单元以女性为主题，其目的在于引导学生了解有什么样的人才是伟人，伟人具有哪些优秀的品质，我们如何向伟人学习。这些对学生可起到一定的启发作用，使他们能以这些伟人为榜样，并坚定信念，塑造自我，创造未来。
Using Language中读的部分介绍了我国著名的妇科病专家——林巧稚。本课设计是以泛读引出描述人物的文章框架结构，同时通过文章细节学会运用介绍人物品质的形容词来描述介绍人物，此外文章中的固定句型如强调句，主语从句都是学生仿写的典例。我通过不同类型的题型来训练学生，让学生通过练习自己归纳在描述人物时所需的几个句型和常用短语，通过这些活动为下一步的写和说打下基础。
