本课授课学生是威县一中艺体部高一的学生，大部分同学英语基础非常薄弱，学生学习积极性不是太高，有些学生甚至开始放弃英语学习。讲课前，授课教师对学生进行了调查问卷，开展学情调查，很多学生感觉英语语法难度特别大，即使学会了也不会做题，更不要说实际运用。所以根据学生这种情况，本节课内容设置特别简单，并且例句全部是教师亲自整理，跟学生的实际生活相关，这样能引起学生的学习兴趣。
艺术生的特点是性格活跃，喜欢表现，所以采用小组竞赛的方式，让学生们感受到英语语法的现实意义，语法课也可以很有趣。同时，讲课过程中注重对学生的情感教育，教学过程中一直引导他们努力，合作，为自己的美好未来而努力。
