2. Review the grammar box. Ask students to say the questions and answers.

3.Ask students to circle these words in the grammar focus section of their books: such as: on, across from, next to, between…..and.

1.Guide the students to lean the meanings of the three traffic signs.

T: Look at the first sign. What is the meaning of it?

Encourage or help the students to answer “Go straight.”

Read the word “straight”, and ask the students to repeat.

T: Look at the second sign. What’s the meaning of it?

Encourage or help the students to answer “Turn left”.

Read the words “Turn left” and ask the students to repeat.

Go on with the third sign in the same way.

2.Learn the new phrases and match the words in the box with the signs.

Look at 1b and 1c.

1. Ask the Ss to look at picture and listen to recording .

2. Write the correct place for each letter in the picture.

3.Ask the students to read the conversation and understand

the meaning.
