Based on some teaching theories, this lesson will stimulate students’ interest and desire to talk about daily activities with relevant phrases and expressions of time. Then put them into a composition.

Knowledge aims:

Review and summarize the following knowledge:

1、Adverbs: usually, always, sometimes ,often , never…

2、Phrases: get up, get dressed, take a shower, brush teeth, have breakfast, do morning exercise, have classes, do homework, eat dinner, go to bed…

3、Time: 6:30(six thirty/half past six)

7:45(seven forty-five/a quarter to eight)

4、Conjunctions: then ,and, after that…

5、Sentence patterns: I usually get up at 6:30.

She always goes to bed at 9 o’clock.

Ability aim:

Enable students to describe their own or other people’s daily routine and activity plans with the knowledge learned in this unit.

Moral aims:

1、Help students learn to judge healthy and unhealthy daily routine.

2、Guide students to value time and plan it reasonably.

Teaching important points(教学重点)

1、Help students reserve enough writing materials by reviewing the words, phrases, sentence patterns as well as some structures they may use.

2、Guide students to be clear about the structure of the composition.

Teaching difficult points(教学难点)

Teach students how to join the materials into a composition fluently with different kinds of expressions and describe their daily routine clearly.
