三、教学过程

Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision

1. Question : Do you like watching movies ?

2. Look at the pictures and tell me what kind of movies they are.

Comedy, action movie, cartoon, documentary….

3. Ask students “ What kind of movies do you like ? Why ?

Eg : I like comedies, because they are interesting and relaxing.

Talk about the topic with your partners and do a survey.

Ⅱ. Presentation

1. Watch a short video, the answer my question:

What is the name of the movie ?

What kind of movie is it ?

Can you say something about it ? Please talk about her story.

Eg : She is a girl, but she dresses up like a boy. Her father is weak and old, she takes her father’s place to join the army. She is as brave as a man.

2. Read the movie review of Mulan, fill in the blanks with the words.

Check the answers then read it together.

3. Read the movie review again, think about “how many parts do we need to write a movie review ? ”

Part 3 comments and opinions of the movie

Part 4 recommend of the movie
