四、教学重点难点设计
由于本节课的话题是 谈论健康，根据教学大纲的要求，学生需掌握有关疾病的单词，并能针对疾病提出合理的建议。因此本节课教学重点设置如下:
The teaching Focus
1.Master th e names of diseases: fever, sore throat, sore back; stomachache, headache, toothache, cold, cough;
2. Master the expr essions of giving advice: lie down and rest, drink hot tea with honey, see a dentist, take this medicine;
3.Talk about h ealth problems by using “What’s the matter? I have a?”and give advice by using “You should? You shouldn’t?”
本节课所复习的内 容是之前学生已经学习过的，因此他们有一定的知识储备。但是，让他们在40分钟内掌握较多单词的发音及意思，同时掌握本单元出现的全部语法，的确有一定的难度。另外，由于七年级学生年龄和生活经验的限制，在谈论如何给合适的建议时，会遇到一定的困难。因此本节课的教学难点设置如下：
The Teaching Difficulties
1. Studen ts may find it difficult to remember all the target new words in the class;
2. Students ma y find it difficult to give appropriate advice to the certain disease because of their limited life experience.
五、教学方法和学习策略
1、教学方法
（1）任务型语言教学法：设计多种任务活动，提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间，促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作，为完成任务进行探究学习。
（2）开放性教学策略：教师要开放性地处理教材，结合教材插入学生感兴趣的图片，丰富学生知识，拓宽他们视野，实现知识的整合。
2、学习策略
（1）自主学习：要求学生采用自主学习的方式，能根据需要进行有目的预习，使其对教师的教学内容起补充作用。
（2）合作学习：在与同学合作完成 任务的活动中形成合作学习和探究学习的学习方式，引导学生积极思考，善于抓住英语交流的机会。在活动中相互探讨、相互交流、相互合作，从而获得知识、技能和情感体验，发展他们的能力。
（3）通过定时背诵语篇，激发学生的 学习热情，培养他们的记忆力和综合语言运用能力。发挥他们自己的主观能动性，把被动的学习变为主动学习，让学生巩固所学语言知识。
