3三、 教学目标及策略

I、教学目标

1、 知识目标:要求学生掌握使用过去进行时来询问或描述过去进行的事情,并学会用when、while谈论过去的事情或自己的故事。

2、 能力目标:能在交际过程中熟练运用所学结构和句型,在听前学会运用听前预测,在听中提高抓取和记录关键信息等听力技能,在听后学会运用when、while引导的时间状语从句讲述自己的故事。

3、 情感目标及价值观:教育、培养学生对他人及动物表示关爱;以及讲述过去的故事。

活动1【导入】Revision

I、Greetings.

师生互相问候,并就天气话题自由谈论。

<设计意图>:通过问候,师生进行初步的情感交流,营造一个轻松愉悦的课堂氛围。

II、Review.

? 让学生运用上节课所学的过去进行时结构来回答。 复习巩固when引导的时间状语从句。<设计意图>:what sb was/were doing 以及when /while 引导的时间状语从句贯穿于本单元的话题,是本单元也是本节课的重点,在Section A中学生已经初步掌握这些知识,

活动2【导入】Lead-in

教师口述Kate的故事,让学生对听力材料有一个大致的了解。

活动4【讲授】Listening practice

1、播放两遍听力,学生做简略回答,并正确排序。完成后集体订正答案。

2、阅读听力材料做听后处理,完成三个学习任务。

任务一:Read the listening materials and answer the questions.

1. What did she realize when she got to the bus stop?

2. What did she do when she realized her bag was at home?

3. What did she see while she was running back home?

4. What did she want to do when she saw the dog?

5. Why did she wait for someone when she wanted to call the Animal Helpline?

6. When the basketball competition started, what was Kate doing?

任务二:Play the role of Kate.

Kate: What a day I had! _____ I got to the bus stop, I ______ that my bag was still at home! But _____ I ___________ back home, I ____ a dog by the side of the road and it was hurt.
