StepI Lead-in

Show some pictures of different sports and ask students which is the most dangerous. Lead the topic to the mountain climbing.

StepII New words

By talking about the difficulties in climbing mountains, students can learn some new words with vivid pictures under the situation I create. And at the same time, write them on the blackboard.

StepIII Fast reading

Read the passage as quickly as possible, and match each paragraph with the main ideas.

(Tell them the reading skill of skimming: please read the first or last sentence to catch the main idea.)
