Step 3 Pre-reading

Look at the pictures and answer the question: What is the passage about?

Teach them the reading skill.

2. Watch a video about the Monkey King.

3. Tell Ss to listen to the passage quickly and try to find the answers to the questions:

① Which book is talked about?

② Who is the main character?

③ What is he like?

Step 4 While-reading

Read the whole passage and ask Ss to find the main idea of each paragraph.Teach them the reading skill.

Read the passage carefully and finish the tasks:

3. Read the third paragraph and answer the question .
