1. Review the rules of changing a singular noun into a plural form and use them correctly in your daily expressions and concrete situations.

2. Know the ways about how to describe an uncountable noun and be able to pay attention to the forms in your oral English and some situations.

3. Be able to use the possessive case of nouns correctly.

4. Master the ways of using nouns to be attribute and use them correctly.

Step 2. Learn the conception of nouns and how to classify nouns.

1. Nouns are the names of a person, a place and something.

2. How to classify nouns.

Step 3 Review the rules of changing a singular noun into a plural form and give some examples.

1. Regular changes ( plural form of nouns)

2.Irregular changes( plural form of nouns)

(1)单复数同形的词。如: sheep, fish, Chinese, Japanese, deer。

(2)词干发生变化的词。如: foot—feet, tooth—teeth, child—children, mouse—mice, goose—geese。

Step 4 How to use a measure word to describe an uncountable noun.

英语中表示不可数名词的量时要用量词,其结构为“数词或冠词+量词+of+不可数名词”。量词可以是单数,也可以是复数。此外,不可数名词还可以与some, much, a little, any, a lot of, lots of 等词连用。

如: a piece of bread, two glasses of milk,

some rice

Step 5 Do some exercises.

1. Play a game: Find the plural forms s soon as you can.

2. Write down the plural forms of the words.
