二．教学对象分析
对象： 初三二班学生，已经拥有两年的中学英语学习经验，部分学生学习基础不是特别好，但学习的欲望很强烈。
词汇和语法方面：
该课为本单元Section B第一课时新授课，词汇量不大，大部分都是学过的单词，学生们在词汇学习方面没有太大的障碍。经过本课时学习他们会对西方节日这一话题很感兴趣，基本能够完成对自己喜欢的西方传统节日的介绍，并能根据个人实际情况完成相关的话题作文。
人文培养方面：
现状：a. 大多数学生英语基础比较扎实，并对英语非常感兴趣。所以应抓住这一点，对不同层次的学生布置不同程度的问题，使所有同学都有所收获。
b. 有个别同学学习英语有困难。上课不敢问问题或回答问题，应对这部分同学多启发，回答问题时给予较多的引导和表扬。
c. 该阶段学生的表现欲望很强烈，这有助于增强学英语的热情，所以应该多肯定，为他们多创造发言的机会，让他们在轻松和快乐的环境下学好英语。
