程Step One :Present learning aims

(设计意图:让学生明确本节课的教学目标,以及要达到的教学效果。)

Step Two: Lead-in

Show some pictures about students and ask “Who is he/she?” and “What did she/he use to be like?

T1: He is Zhang Hongjia. He used to be short, but now he is tall.

Step Three: Grammar

讲解关于“used to ”的肯定句,否定句,一般疑问句及肯定回答,否定回答,反义疑问句,以及与“be used to do sth”, ”be/get used to doing sth”区别。

(设计意图:有关“used to ”句型结构变化只讲解了含有“did”形式,便于学生掌握,区分知识点为了夯实基础。)

Step Four: 4a,4b

4a.Write sentences about the past using used to.

4b. Look at the information and write sentences about Emily.

(设计意图:巩固练习“used to ”相关句型的转换)

Step Five: 4c

Which of these things did you use to be afraid of? Which ones are you still afraid of? Check the boxes and then ask your partner.
