1、课堂导入 Step 1 Lead-in

1) Show some pictures about pollution and ask students to discuss what’s the danger of each kind of pollution.

2) Here are some words are related to different kinds of pollution. Write them in the box below, and you can add more words.

loud music, littering, building houses, cars,ships, mobile phones, rubbish, factories, planes, smoking.

3) Role-play the following conversation and make your own conversations about the kinds of pollution above.

A: The river was dirty. Even the bottom of the river is full of rubbish. B: But it used to be so clean.

A: Yes, but people are littering in the river.

B: Everyone in the town should play a part in cleaning it up.
