Step 1: Warm up

1 . Free talk

2 . Sing a song : Old MacDonald

Step 2: Leading -in

T:Tell you ,Old MacDonald is my friend. Look, this is his farm .(PPT)

[Use picture of farm to review the words and sentences in Part A ]

Then, T:What are these ? Oh, they are animals .There are so many our old friends and new friends .The farm is big .Old MacDonald is busy .So,look! (PPT: Job Notice ) Can you help him ? Do you like animals ? If you like animals,come here ,you can touch them .Have a try .OK ?

[Purpose : a. The design of the story to increase the fun . b. In the theme of education .]

Step 3 : Presentation

1. Teaching words

a. From ‘cow,hen,horse,sheep’ to ‘cows,hens,horses,sheep’ .Use the previous sentences pattern teaching .(eg :How many ... . What’s this ? ...)

From ‘this →these’ to understand the meaning of ‘those’ .

b. Look, listen and say.

T:Show you one word ,you say the word .OK?(PPT) ... Now,I say ‘It’s a...’,you say ‘They’re...’.

c. Named exercises answer . “What are these ? They’re...” After the same time ,pay attention to guide the children to describe animals .

d. Look at the local map (PPT) T:What are these/those? Then ,answer questions through the whole map . T: Are they ...? (Ss : Yes,they are ./No.they aren’t.) Teach the new sentence: No,they aren’t.
