3学情分析

本节课的教学对象是小学三年级下学期的学生，他们经过近一学年的英语教学,学生已经掌握一定词汇、句型、简单英语表达等知识,具备了一定的学习技能;学生对英语学科的热情足,兴趣高,除了简单模仿,学生还有了表演、拓展、创造等更高欲望;遗憾的是,由于一些地区差异等客观原因,学生课外投入本学科时间有限,水平不够,对课堂的发挥造成影响。

4重点难点

掌握涉及的重点词句,整体把握故事。 We can put a bell on the cat. 是本课教学需突破的一个难点。

5教学过程

活动1【导入】Step　1　Warming　up

1.教师摇手里的铃铛说:“Hello,boys and girls. Attention, please! Watch the vedio, here come two our friends.”

(设计意图:通过实物，让学生认知单词bell和ring,使学习和生活紧密结合。)

2.欣赏电影片段,问:What animals can you see ? 教师导入:Today I’ll tell you another story about a cat and the mice.揭示并板书课题:Story Time The Cat and the Bell ( 猫图片、实物铃铛)

(设计意图:通过电影激趣,影片中猫和老鼠的矛盾与冲突自然过渡到本课另一个有关猫和老鼠的故事。)

4 Introduce the rules.(Divide the students into four groups. They’re Mouse A, Mouse B, Mouse C and Mouse D. Have a competition to see which mouse can run into the house first.

6. Teach: bell

7. Have students to guess the relation between the cat and the bell.

活动2【讲授】Step　2　Presentation

1.Have students to watch the story. Then answer the question.

What’s the relationship between the bell and the cat?

2. From the answer to teach: We can put a bell on the cat.

3. Teach part 1(picture1).

(1) Have students to watch the story to find the answer for question Why put a bell on the cat?

1.PPT展示第一幅图。教师指着故事第一幅图说:“Look! This is the black cat. It often kills our brothers and sisters. What shall we do?”

教师用形象的动作演示,教学新词kill和句子What shall we do?

(设计意图:第一句含有新单词kill和brothers、sisters等,对学生来说较为拗口,分成部分教学有利掌握。动作体态语的使用避免汉语的过多出现,使英文课堂名副其实。不同形式的操练形式有利于避免学生的懈怠心理。)

2.师问:What shall we do? 引导学生想办法来帮助小老鼠。
