教学重难点

教学重点:让学生能听、说、认读有关季节表述的单词:favorite, season, summer, hot,以及让学生能听、说、认读句型 What’s your favorite season?

教学难点:单词favorite 的发音及运用,句型What’s your favorite …的认读及运用,以及根据思维导图,用英语复述课文。

教具准备

单词卡片、图片、四线三格磁片、PPT。

教学步骤

Step 1 Warming-up and lead-in. 热身、导入环节

Greetings between teacher and students.

The whole class sing the song “Spring has arrived”, and do the action.

After singing the song,

T: What’s it about?

Ss: It’s about spring.

T:Yes,it’s about spring, in spring, trees are green, flowers are blooming, birds are singing. Is it beautiful?

Ss: Yes.

T:You know, spring is one of the seasons in the year. There are 4 seasons in a year, they are spring, summer, autumn and winter. Today we’ll learn Unit7 Seasons Part A.

(Review the word “spring、season”) Point out the title “Unit7 Seasons Part A”

(歌曲导入伴随动作,学生们身心放松,愉悦,可以很自然地进入新课学习状态。)

Step 2 Presentation呈现环节

Lead in the lesson.

T:There are four seasons in a year, what’s your favorite season? (ppt shows the question and the pictures of four seasons)

Point out the important word “favorite” ,review it and ask some students to read ,then read together.

Show 2 pieces of ppt to use the word “favorite” :My favorite color is …. My favorite food is ….

Go on talking about the topic “What’s your favorite season?”

Ss:Spring./ Summer. …

T:Well done,boys and girls.Today Wang Tao and Lily are talking about seasons, too. What are their favorite seasons? Do you know? Can you guess?

Ss: …

T:Maybe.Now let’s watch the video, and find the answer.
