Step 1 Warm-up
1. Sing the song “ We wish a Merry Christmas”.(通过学生熟悉的歌曲调动学生学习英语的兴趣并自然引出节日Christmas)
2. Have a free talk about the festival “Christams”.（通过谈论Christmas了解其时间习俗并引出中国的一大重要节日Spring Festival）
(1). Ask “What’s the song about?”.
(2). Ask “Which festival in China is the most important like Christmas?” and present “ Spring Festival”.
Step 2 Presentation
1.Talk about Spring Festival. Know about the date of Spring Festival.（通过谈论了解春节的时间并教会学生表达单词农历“lunar calendar”）
2. Show the passage in PPT and fill in the blanks. （通过填空了解春节的习俗并给学生更多口语表达的机会）
3. Say out more sentences about the last blank.（通过填写最后一个横线的句子启发学生的思维，给学生更多想象和表达的空间）
4. Write down the topic “ Holidays”（通过对Christmas 和Spring Festival 两个节日的学习和了解引出本节课的主题“Holidays”）
Step 3 PPT Show
Ask some students to show their PPT about different festivals. （课前让学生自由组合上网搜索了解节日并制作PPT，选出三个最优秀的PPT进行展示，并让学生在设计PPT时加入问答互动环节，很好地体现了生生互动的教学模式，而且达到了调动了其他学生积极思考并学习兴趣的目的。）

Step 4 Vocabulary
1. Listen and choose the right answer. (提高学生的听力能力)

Read the dialogue in Target and mark the important words.(根据本班学生学习英语的情况，学生对于Culture中的句型掌握的比较好，所以在课本句子学习这一part占用的时间比较少。)

1. Try to say out more holidays.（通过学生共同思考表达出更多节日，再次给学生更多表达的机会）
