Step 1: Warming up

How often do you ….?

Students ask teacher the same questions. The teacher says: my favorite activity is reading. I read books every day. So I have good habits.

(和学生日常打招呼,然后通过对话复习本学期学过的句型。自然引出habits这个课题,并带读 这个新词)

Step 2: Presentation and Practice 1

Judge:good habits or bad habits.

自主学习:自己把所有新词读一遍,用铅笔划出不会读的词,然后问其他同学。

小组学习检测:四人小组:一号到四号轮流读新词(每个同学都要读),其他三位同学认真听,纠正他/她的读音。完成较快的小组可以玩游戏:listen and touch.

pair work: Ask your partner问同伴: Hw often do you …? … about ….

(五年级学生已经有一定英语基础,所以我课前让学生自习单词,这是先学后教。通过环节1,老师在引出新授单词时教授自然拼读拼单词。)

Step 3: Presentation and practice 2:

Let’s ask:” How often does she/he ….? “And “Does he/she …?”

Group work: How often does he/she …? She … about ….

Board game

(环节1重点引出第三人称单数的句型,是新授。环节2利用信息沟强化学生口语交际能力,环节3利用Board Games让学生通过不断 句型。)
