1． 教学方法
(1) 运用游戏教学法，激发学生的兴趣，活跃课堂气氛。
(2) 运用情境教学法，为学生的学习营造真实的语言环境。
(3) 活动教学法。根据教学目标和教学内容，开展各种活动，让学生在活动中操练、巩固、运用。
2、采用单词卡、图片和多媒体等，在教学过程中，教学媒体能起到很好的辅助作用，从而帮助学生有效地学习。
3、课前准备的材料：PPT、单词卡、图片以及人物头饰。
五．教学过程
StepⅠ.Greeting
T：Hello, boys and girls! How are you? Well, look,What’s that? Ss: It’s a park. T: Yes, this is a beautiful park. Let’s go to the park, OK? Present the competition regulation.
[设计意图] 课前展示学习竞赛的规则，激起他们的斗志和表现欲。
StepⅡ． Lead in and presentation
（1）A guessing game（Sharp eyes):复习上一课时所学的单词和句式。
（2）Look and say.
T:You’re super. Look, who’s he? Let’s say hello to him.从Gogo和学生问答互动，询问今天和昨天的天气，引出本单元的知识重点--Be动词的过去式。由谈论自己的校园环境引入课题，板书课题，齐读。
[设计意图]由猜词游戏复习旧知，师生在平等的氛围中进行对话，自然地引入本课课题及新知识。
（3）Show the headdresses of Tony and Gogo ,and says: They are in the park now. But what was the park like at first? What is the park like at last? Let’s watch the video.
a. Lead the students watch the video.
b. Ask the students to answer the questions:What was the park like at first? What is the park like at last?
（4）Ask the students to read the story after the PPT.
(5) 将公园的三次变化的图片和句子分别展示，并借助动作或实物等方式引导学生学习basket, pick up , pull等词。
（7）Let’s match.引导学生图文连线，检验他们对故事内容的掌握情况。
