1)Show the word “polite”,then “impolite”, have the students tell what things are polite and what things are impolite they know .

2) Lead the children to say “We should/ shouldn’t …”according to the polite or impolite things.

5. Play the media of the dialogue, let the children tell what happen to Jiamin and Xiaoling.

6. Learn the dialogue:

1) Show what Jiamin did on the bus. Lead the children find out the past form of “stand, can, sit”.

2) Let the children to answer that what they will do if they see an old lady standing on the bus.

3) Teach the new words: see sb. doing sth./ in need.

4) Show what Xiaoling did at the supermarket. Lead the children to find out the past form of “wait, try, doesn’t”.

5) Ask the children to tell what they should do when waiting at the supermarket.

6) Sing a song “It’s the polite thing to do”.

7) Ask the children to read the dialogue after the teacher, answer the questions.

8) Let the children fill in the blanks according to the dialogue.

9) Ask the children to read the dialogue in role.

7. Situation:The children’s classmates are doing the impolite things.

1) Ask them to talk about these pictures in groups.

2)Let the children tell them not to do the impolite things.

3) Lead the children to sum up how to tell people not to do the impolite things.

3. Read the topic and listen to what they are going to learn in this lesson.

4. Look, think and talk.

1) Children tell what the polite things, then the impolite things they know.

2)Children say:“We should/ shouldn’t …”according to the polite or impolite things.

5. Children listen and watch the dialogue, tell what happen to Jiamin and Xiaoling.
