Step 1 Warming-up (热身)

1.Greeting:

T: Good morning, class!

Ss: Good morning!

T: Today we will learn Lesson 5what are you doing?学生齐读课题

2. Game: sharp eyes.

Before our class,let’s play a game. 快速说出你看到屏幕上的单词

3.Sing a song: what are you doing?

Step 2. Presentation and practice(新知呈现与操练)

1 创设情境:Today Tom and his friends are getting together at Tom’s home.What are they doing?Let’ go and see.

2出示Tom头像,教师:guess,what is Tom doing?学生猜测教师对猜测的答案不作出正误判断。

3 Let’s listen学生听录音回答what are you doing?板书并操练。 what does Tom say?Let’s listen.学生听录音回答:I’m reading a book。教师出示该句子,齐读,男女读,并教read--reading, ing 的读法。

4 出示Peter头像Tom is reading a book.What about Peter?.guess,what is Tom doing?Please ask Peter,请个别学生一个接一个问what are you doing?

5出示Peter喝水完整图,you are Peter now ,please answer :what are you doing?学生看图回答I’m drinking water。齐读句子和drink--drinking.

教师做喝的动作,说,look at me ,I am drinking.让一名学生也做喝的动作,说,we are drinking.再让全班一起做喝的动作说,we are drinking.然后出示单词we教学。

6出示Ann and Lily ,look at our good friends Ann and Lily,what are they doing?,guess.学生猜测,let’s ask Ann and Lily,how do we ask?引导问:Ann and Lily,what are you doing?

7 What do Ann and Lily say?Let’s listen.学生听录音回答:We’re eating bananas.教师出示句子,We are eating bananas. 教学新词we,eat---eating分男、女生,大小声进行操练

8出示Ann and John ,What are Ann and Tom doing?Please ask Ann and Tom.学生个别问: Ann and Tom,what are you doing?出示完整画画图,you are Ann and Tom now ,please answer :what are you doing?学生看图回答:We are drawing.教师出示句子,并教draw---drawing高低声进行操练
