3. Look at the pictures and answer: What is he/she like ?

教学意图:通过游戏及看图问答复习有关描述人物外貌的词和句子。

4.Enjoy a song 《Look at my family photo》and answer: what’s the song about ?(It’s about a family photo . )

教学意图:通过关于家庭照片的歌曲,自然引入有关讨论照片中人物变化的主题。

Step2. Presentation

Look, listen and say

(1)Show a picture and introduce it

Look at my family photo ,guess which one is me ?

I was 15 years old .I was short then .But I am tall now .My parents were young then .(板书)

设计意图:通过出示教师自己的家庭照,教师描述自己以前的特征,引出句子“I was …. My parents were….”

(2)Show a picture and ask questions :who are they ?(they are Steven and Lingling .)What are they talking about ?(They are talking about Lingling’s family photo .)How many pepple are there in Lingling’s family ?

设计意图:通过图片及问题引入对话。

(3)Listen and answer the questions .

What was Lingling like then ? How old was Lingling?

设计意图:听音回答问题,初步感知文本。

(4)Read and answer .

What were Lingling’s parents like then ? Where were they ?

设计意图:读对话回答问题,深入文本。

(5) Read follow the radio.

设计意图:模仿语音语调。

(6)Work in pairs ,read the dialog then act out the dialogs .

设计意图:通过练习,表演对话。

(7)Fill in the blanks ,then retell the dialog .

设计意图:通过对重点句子挖空,并复述对话,达到背诵对话的目的。
