难点:熟练运用特殊疑问句的单三形式:What time does he/she get up ?

学情分析 :

六年级的学生已经拥有了一些英语学习经验,有着比较扎实的英语基础,他们也具备了一定的动口能力和动手能力,但是他们的语言运用能力还有待进一步提高。

教学过程

第一课时

Step I Warming up and revision

1. Greetings.

2.Say a chant.

3. Review some verb phrases and read together :visit my grandparents,do homework ,clean the room , water the flowers, cook dinner, go boating , go hiking, fly kites, ride a bike, draw pictures, read books ,do morning exercises ,go to school, play computer games, watch TV. And use “usually, often , sometimes ”to make sentences.

4. Ask and answer in pairs with “What do you do on weekends ? Sometimes I …/I often…/I usually …” .

(设计意图:通过简短的问候和说唱歌谣,来活跃英语课堂气氛;采用说出动词短语和结对活动,既复习了知识,又为新课的学习打下基础。)

Step II Presentation and drill

1. Review some verb phrases: get up, have breakfast, go to school ,do morning exercises ,do homework, watch TV .Ask and answer with “What time do you …every day ? I usually…at ….”

2.创设情境,T:Today,Let’s meet a new friend. He is Liu Yang. Today, we are going to talk about his daily life.

3. Show the text, tell students to fill in the blanks in their groups.

4. Ask a student read the text and check the answers. Then read after the teacher and answer the teacher’s questions.

5. Ask several students to read the text one by one .

6. Guide students to talk about Liu Yang’s daily life, according to the form.

(设计意图:采用创设情境的方式来展开本节课的学习,知识的传授循序渐进,学生自然习得新知。)

Step III Practice

Do a survey: I am a reporter.

(设计意图:采用“我是小记者”的调查方式,来激发学生学习兴趣,学生在调查中操练了短语和句型,同时也达到了学以致用的目的。)

Step IV Consolidation and extension

1. Guide students to write a passage: My daily life, and let students read the passages.

2. Sum up the main points and say them out .

3. Tell students two proverbs : (1). An hour in the morning is worth two in the evening.一日之计在于晨。

(2).The early bird catches the worm. 早起的鸟儿有虫吃。

Let students cherish the time and study hard.

4. Homework.
