Pre-task preparations

1. Play the song “My face” in “Sing a song” part, ask Students listen and sing the song together.

2. Show the picture of “Judy’s family”, play the introduction of Judy. Help students revise words “father/mother/brother/sister” and preview the words “ear、long、eye、big”.

While-task procedures

1.Present the little girl’s head portrait in PPT, teacher point differernt part of the girl and teach the new words about five senses.

2 Play game “Make a face”, invite several students to choose different eyes /ears/ mouth/ nose to make a new face. This game not only can arouse students’ interests but also can help them revise those words in “Look and learn” part.

3. Stand up and say. Show some pictures of five senses. Let students stand up and answer “what’s this?”

4. Look and match. Ask Students match the pictures with words.

5. Look and find. There are some letters in PPT. Ask students find the words we have learnt before.

Post-task activities

1 Quick response. Teacher says “touch your…” Students must use fingers point the right part as soon as possible.

2 Teacher take out a mirror. Ask students to look through the mirror and introduce their faces.

Homework

1 .Listen and read Pages 26-27.

2 .Copy the words
