1.呈现图片并问答

T:Look at these pictures. So many people here! Do you know their names?

Ss:No.

T:But you maybe know their jobs. Can you tell me what job you like best? Why ?

T:People have different jobs. So do the animals. Look at the picture. What is the bear’s job?

S:He is a doctor.

(依次呈现熊、猫头鹰、黑猫警长,并讨论他们的职业。)

T:The bear is a doctor. The owl is a teacher. And Mr Black is a policeman. But what’s his job?(示图) what animal is it?

S: It’s a frog.

T:Yes. So we call it Froggy. What’s Froggy’s job? Can you guess?

T:Maybe you are right. Today we’ll learn a story about Froggy’s new job.(揭题) First,let’s watch a video and tell me what Froggy’s job is.

Step 2 Presentation

1.呈现视频并让学生回答问题。

Q: What’s Froggy’s new job?

S: lifeguard.(教授生词)

2.听故事第一段录音并回答问题。

Q: Before Froggy become a lifeguard, what does he want to be? Why?

S: He wants to be a pilot. Because he wants to fly an aeroplane .(教学新词pilot和aeroplane)

T:Can his dream come true? Why?

S: No. Because he is afraid of flying.

3.学生模仿第一段里的话。

Froggy:I want to be a pilot.

But I am afraid of flying.

Help ! Help! It’s too high.

4.学生齐读第一段。
