Teaching procedure:

Step1: warm-up

1. Greeting with students

2. I do you say

(I do the actions students should say the words about the actions quickly such as: dance, swim, jump high, run fast… to make the class more active and stimulate their interest in learning English )

Then I will ask my students: Can you jump far?

(ask some student to jump far or high to review the knowledge: Can you…, on the other hand can attract their attention to my class)

Lead-in:

We have done so many exercise, I’m hungry now, can I have some noodles?

(show them a picture of eating noodles and lead them to answer yes, please./ Sorry, you can’t.)

Presentation:

Show them some pictures about bread, soup, sweets…

And use the new structure to ask them

(to understand the key point and get ready for practice)

Pair work:

Ask all the students to practice with their deskmates

Picture reading:

Show them a picture about Amy and ask what happed to her?

Text learning :

1. Listen and answer

2. read and answer

3. reading time

4. retell the text

Production:

Amy is going to invite us to a party, let’s go!
