五、教学过程

Step Ⅰ Warm-up(课前热身)

1. Greetings and enjoy a song “What do you want to eat”

Step Ⅱ Lead-in (导入)

Ask and answer between the teacher and the students.

1. What can you see in the song?

2. What’s your favourite food? My favourite food is …

T: My favourite food is fish. And I also like apple, milk, soup and bread. I don’t like sweets, because they’re bad for our teeth.

Step Ⅲ Presentation(呈现)

1. Take out a sweet and ask a student “What’s this” in Chinese. Then learn new words “sweets, bread, soup” according to the pictures and fruit and vegetables. Introduce the structure “Can I have some …? Yes, you can. / Sorry, you can’t.”

2. Ask the students to watch the video and the second time answer the following questions: (1) What does Amy want to eat? (2) How many times do you hear “Sorry, you can’t?” And teach the new word “Sorry”

3. Watch the video and read after it. Learn new words “ sorry, dark, well, turn on, light”.

4. Play games to master the new words and structure “Can I have some sweets? Yes, you can./ Sorry, you can’t.” and make a competition.

Step Ⅳ Consolidation(巩固)

1. What do you want to eat?

2. Use the sentence “Can I have some…? Yes, you can. Here you are. / Sorry, you can’t.” to make a request and give a response with your partner.
