Step 1: Warming-up

T:I like animals, Do you like animals?

T:I like dogs. Because ,dogs are very useful. (出示课件)

Step2: Presentation

?1.?Let’s listen to a chant, It’s about dogs.

Now, open your books, turn to page 38, Let’s read after the tape.(Ss跟读)

2. New words.

Just now we have watched the video about dogs, and we can see that dogs are very “useful”.(使用单词卡展示).

Look at this man. What’s the matter with him?

T:Yes, this man is blind. He can’t see.(单词卡片展示给学生并板书)

领读--小组读

4.Look at the next picture.

T: What’s the matter with the girl?

She is deaf. She can’t hear.(单词卡片展示给学生并板书) 领读――?男女生读??

5. Boys and girls. Look here.

T: Who is this? S: This is a firefighter.

(Teach the word “firefighter”)(单词卡片)(领读,个别学生读)??

3.?? Do you know another kind of dog,hot dog.(出示单词卡)

4. What are hot dogs?

T: They're sausages.(sausage单词卡片领读)(个别同学读)

5. Practise the new words with PPT.

1. Do you like TV show? Lingling ,Amy and Sam like TV show too. Let’s listen to the text, then answer the questions:

b.Who helped the firefighters?
