Ss:It’s about food.

T:Yes.First ,let’s chant together.

T&Ss:What did you have for dinner? Bread ,meat and a hamburger.

What did you have for dinner? Fish ,eggs and a hamburger.

T:Well done! Yesterday, I had lots of food. I had...for luncn. I had ...for dinner. And this morning. I had ...for breakfast.

Then what did you have for breakfast?

S1:I had a sandwich for breakfast.

S2:I had a hamburger for breakfast.(T:That’s nice/delicious/good.)

T:Today I will introduce a cartoon image to you . Look! It’s the Happy Cat. It likes eating very much. Very much.

Ss: Very much.

T:My favourite food is fish ,so I can say I like fish very much. The cat likes eating very much ,then what did it have for breakfast? Let’s see. It had meat...

Ss:Meat, soup,rice,bread. Noodles ,fish,milk,dumplings. Eggs, tomatoes, potatoes, vegetables. Oranges, apples, bananas,pears.

二、Lead in

T:The Happy Cat likes eating very much. It also wants to eat some English food. But it has to finish the tasks first.Look at the maze,please help the Happy Cat finish the tasks and eat the English food ,then go out of the maze.分组

三、Presentation

1.Find out the past tense of eat.

2.Read the letter for the first time.And answer”What kind of food did they have?”

3.Read the letter for the second time.Read quickly and circle the English food.

4.Read the letter for the second time.Who ate four hamburgers ?Why? Who had a sandwich? Why? Please read and underline your answer quickly and check with your partner.

四、Practice
