Ⅰ.Warm up

1.Teachers and students exchange greetings.

2.Let’s talk about the chant .

3.Show the words we’ve learnt,ask the students to read and review.

Ⅱ.New lesson

1.look,listen and say

T:Last lesson,we know about Lingling’s three meals in England.Lingling made a new friend--John in England.What did John’s cat eat? Let’s have a look!

Play a video of SB Unit 2 activity1.Ask the students to watch and get a general understanding.Then ask individual student to answer the questions the teacher just asked.

Play the video again,ask the students to read after each other in class,in groups and individually.Remind the students to imitate the pronunciation and intonation.

Ask the students to practice in pairs,and then ask some students to come forward and show them.

2.Listen and read

Play the video of SB Unit2 activity2,ask the students to understand the text.

Ask the students to listen again,then choose the right answers.

Check the answers.

Play the video again,ask them to listen completely and try to understand the sentences.

Use the pictures and the cards,lead the students to learn the words.At the same time,the application of “gave” was trained.

Play it a third time,ask the students to follow sentence by sentence.Stress the pronunciation and intonation of each sentence.

Now answer the questions

Ask the students to read all the questions by themselves and understand the questions.Then ask them to read the questions and answer, write down the answers.

Check the answers.

Today we’ve learnt about the culinary culture ,we should eat healthy ,willing contact with foreign culture,enhance the sense of the motherland.

Ⅳ.Homework

Watch the text animation and read the text according to the correct pronunciation and intonation.
