Step1：Greeting.

T:Hello.Boys and girls.How are you?Are you happy today?

Step2.Game :Point to the ducks.

T: You should stand,at the same time point to the ducks and say out the words quickly. If there is no words,you don’t need to read .

Step3.Review the time:What time is it now?

Step4.Song:《Five Little Ducks》

Step5.To learn the new words”duck”from this song.

T: From this song we know that our new friends are “ducks”.

Step6.创设情境，通过老师的一步步引导学习这节课的所有单词：pond,dry,cloud,later,look like, stay,to go.

1.T:Now I divide you into two groups.You’re Duck 1,and you are Duck 2.

T：Ducks like eating fish,Ducks like eating sandwiches too?Do you like eating sandwiches ?If you did a good job,you can get a sandwich in your duck.So try your best to get more sandwiches,ok?

T:Ducks like swimming very much.Do you know where the ducks like swimming?(引导学生说河流，湖泊或者大海，最后引出新单词pond)

T:The ducks like swimming so much.But they can’t swim now.Because the pond is dry.(学习dry)

T:The pond is dry,but the ducks really like to swim.So need some ...water.

T；Yes，good。But where is the water from?(引导学生说sky or rain)

T:Yes,the water is from the rain in the sky. Before it’s raining ,there are some dark clouds in the sky.(学习dark clouds)

Later ,it’s raining.(学习later)

Later,it’s raining now.There is a lot of water in the pond.The ducks can swim now .They are swimming happily.It looks like the ducks like to stay on the pond.(学习look like)

T:You look so happy now.It looks like you like to stay with me,yes or no?(学习stay)

T:Yes,the ducks like to stay on the pond.They don’t want to go home now.Father duck and mother duck go out to look for them.Do you know where can Father duck and mother duck find the ducks? Let’s watch the video and find out the answers.

Step7:To teach the text by a question:Where are the ducks?

The ducks meet some people in the park too.Let’s read the text .
